A visit to Estonia
Under the initiative of Estonian side, Georgian Delegation visited Tartu on September 21-27 this year. The Georgian delegation was hosted by the Prefecture of the city. Georgian Delegation included representatives of the Partnership for Road Safety Foundation, Patrol Police Department and Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

Dangerous Game, a fiction for teenagers
Partnership for Road Safety Foundation initiated shooting a fiction-animated movie within the framework of the project Road Safety Education in Schools, specially dedicated to teenagers. From the next year, the Foundation plans to introduce the above-mentioned project not only in primary classes but also in upper classes of the project target schools.

Photo Exhibition on Seat Belts
Irakli Gedenidze’s personal exhibition was arranged at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel with the title “Fasten Your Seatbelt, Insure Your Fate”. The exposition was held within the frameworks of the project “Seat-Belt Promotion in Georgia”, which is carried out under patronage of the First Lady of Georgia Sandra Elisabeth Roelofs.

Child Protection Day – “Protect the unprotected”
On June 1st, which is celebrated in Georgia as child protection day, the foundation Partnership for Road Safety has held the even Protect the Unprotected, in frames of the event, 12 newborn infants in Tbilisi Guduhsauri hospital have received presents, including child restraints and special leaflets.

Wearing Seatbelts May Become Mandatory in Georgia!
Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, who is currently on his official visit to the United States, after meeting the mayor of New York Michael Bloomberg said that road safety is a major problem in Georgia and it has to be dealt with by using the American experience.
