A visit to Estonia

Under the initiative of Estonian side, Georgian Delegation visited Tartu on September 21-27 this year. The Georgian delegation was hosted by the Prefecture of the city. Georgian Delegation included representatives of the Partnership for Road Safety Foundation, Patrol Police Department and Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The Delegation paid visits to the local police to observe their style of work. These meetings mainly concerned current problems with regard to road safety and prevention methods. Interestingly, Estonian side initiated to fund the project “Promotion of Reflectors in Georgia” from the next month. The pilot project will be carried out in 5 public schools of Georgia within 6 months. At the beginning of November, representatives of Tartu Prefecture will visit Georgia to hold trainings and lessons for the project participant pupils.
