Foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” Presented on the Road-Transport and Infrastructure Coordination Group Meeting II

The Road-Transport and Infrastructure Coordination Group Meeting II was held at the Tbilisi City Hall. The main task was to discuss the parking strategy development. The project of the traffic jam application was introduced to the meeting participants, which was worked out by Tbilisi City Hall. At the meeting, Irakli Izoria, the director of the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”, presented the project “Friendly Roads”.

The Road-Transport and Infrastructure Coordination Group was created with the initiative of Irakli Lekvinadze, Deputy of Tbilisi Mayor. The goal of the working group is to share the experience of the different organizations and specialists in order to improve the road and transport infrastructure. Working groups includes the representatives of the Tbilisi City Assembly, Tbilisi City Hall, government and non-governmental organization. Working groups meeting will continue in order to define the future priorities for the better road environment.
