Partnership for Road Safety” Presented Own Project at the Regional Development Conference

Over 30 civil society initiatives for regional and local development were presented at a two-day conference opened in Tbilisi on October 24. The foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” presented own project, which aimed to monitor the black spots, deliver school trainings and information campaign in the Region of KvemoKartli.

The conference summarises results of a small grants programme rolled out across Georgia in 2015 and 2016 assisting civil society to play active role in resolving local social and economic issues, and fostering links between local authorities and citizens.

The initiative is carried out by UNDP and Civil Development Agency (CiDA) with support from the Swiss Cooperation Office for the South Caucasus (SCO) and Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), and in partnership with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
