The inter-agency meeting on road safety has been held

The meeting of inter-agency commission of Georgian road safety was held at Iota Hotel. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Giorgi Cherkezishvili, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Chairman of Roads Department Irakli Karseladze, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Nino Javakhadze and Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi Maia Bitadze. Mr. Karseladze delivered a presentation on road safety improvement measures planned and performed by the Department in 2017-2018. In addition to representatives of Georgian state agencies, the meeting was also attended by the representatives of the EU delegation, World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and NGOs, among them were Gela Kvashilava and Irakli Izoria, representatives of the "Partnership for Road Safety".
