NGOs Working on the Road and Transport Safety Met with the Degelation of Dublin

On February 4, the representatives of the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” visited Tbilisi City Hall to meet the delegation of Dublin in order to discuss the road and transport safety issues.

The representatives of Dublin delegation -  Brenden O’brien, the Head of Environment and Transport Technical Service Department at Dublin City Hall, and Eogan Meddenia, the Main Engiineer, Environment and Transport Technical Service Department at Dublin City Hall talked about the transport systems development and strategic action plans.   They also discussed the implementation of their successful experience and practice in Georgia.

At the meeting, the attention was paid to the pedestrians’ safety and comfortable environment creation, public transport, in particular tram system development.

With the representatives of the foundation, other NGOs, who work on the transport and road safety issues, attended the meeting.
