Campaign „Make Our Road Safe” on TV „Rustavi 2”

The main topic of the midday program on TV “Rustavi 2” was road construction and road safety campaign „Make Our Road Safe” on the central highway. The guest speakers were Gela Kvashilava, Founder, the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”, Giorgi Seturidze, Head of the Road Department, Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, and Tinatin Revazishvili, one of the campaign faces, injured from the road accidents.

During the radio program, the guest speakers talked about the construction of the central highway, its importance for the country’s development and road safety project “Awareness and education road safety campaigns on E-60 Tbilisi-Poti Corridor and in Settlements along this highway Corridor”, implemented and planned campaign activities. The campaign „Make Our Road Safe” aims to decrease the number of death and injures on E60 Tbilisi-Poti corridor and nearby the central highway.

The campaign „Make Our Road Safe” is implemented within the project “Awareness and education road safety campaigns on E-60 Tbilisi-Poti Corridor and in Settlements along this highway Corridor” by the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” with the Roads Department. The project is financed by the World Bank.
