Campaign “Save Kids Lives” at School “Skhivi”
On April 8, with the partnership of the Foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” and International Black Sea University the private school “Skhivi” joined the global campaign “Save Kids Lives”. The schoolchildren put their signs and demands on the banners, which call the people to save the kids on the roads.
Within the global campaign, the children and young over the world are calling the adults to keep the traffic law; and they ask the government and leaders to create such road environment that will provide safe travel. Kids over the world are gathered on the web-page www.savekidslives2015.org, where they leave their signature and demands with photos and videos.
In 2014, in Georgia, 21 children under the age of 16 died and 839 got injured during the traffic accidents. In order to decrease the number and save kids on the Georgian roads, the Foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” is actively involved in the global campaign.
