Campaign “Savekidslives” in Gori
On April 3, the presentation and street action dedicated to the global campaign “Savekdislives” were held in Gori, where children and students actively participated. The presentation about the campaign was followed by the signing process, and the children put their signs and demands on the banners, which call the people to save the kids on the roads.
The event was organized by the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” in the cooperation with the local organization in Gori, such as society “Biliki” and youth movement “Droa”.
In 2014, in Georgia, 21 children under the age of 16 died and 839 got injured during the traffic accidents. In order to decrease the number and save kids on the Georgian roads, the Foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” is actively involved in the global campaign. Within the global campaign, the children and young over the world are calling the adults to keep the traffic law; and they ask the government and leaders to create such road environment that will provide safe travel. Kids over the world are gathered on the web-page www.savekidslives2015.org, where they leave their signature and demands with photos and videos.
