Campaign “Save Kids Lives” at International Black Sea University
On March 30, with the partnership of the Foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”, International Black Sea University joined the global campaign “Save Kids Lives”. The representatives of the Foundation and university put their signs and demands on the banners, which call the people to save the kids on the roads.
In the near future, the wide action will be held by the Foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” with the help of university students and pupils of school “Skhivi”. Within the global campaign, the children and young over the world are calling the adults to keep the traffic law; and they ask the government and leaders to create such road environment that will provide safe travel. Kids over the world are gathered on the web-page www.savekidslives2015.org, where they leave their signature and demands with photos and videos.
In 2014, in Georgia, 21 children under the age of 16 died and 839 got injured during the traffic accidents. In order to decrease the number and save kids on the Georgian roads, the Foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” is actively involved in the global campaign.
