Campaign “Slow Down” at the International Black Sea University

On November 14, the founder of the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” Gela Kvashilava visited the International Black Sea University, and presented the road safety presentation “Slow Down, Let Pedestrians Walk!”. The visit was dedicated to the Day of Memory of the Road Injuries and Dead People.

World Health Organization (WHO) announced the third Sunday of November as the Day of Dead and Injured People on the Road according to the UN Resolution in 2009.

The goal of the meeting was to inform students about the high number of road crashes on the Georgian roads, which cause the traumas and fatal results. The dialogue was developed with the students. In order to solve the problem, it is necessary to involve the representatives of business, media, NGO-s, healthcare systems, and their coordinative activities, by this way the number of death and injuries can be decreased
