Road Safety Media competition award ceremony held in Telavi

On July 24, the winner journalists of the media competition were awarded by Archil Tkhlashidze, Head of Telavi Council, Alexander Sachishvili, Deputy to Mayor of Telavi and Mamuka Patashvili, Head of Traffic Organization and Safety Department of Road Department of Georgia. The best article, radio and TV program were selected by the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”. Awarding ceremony was held at media café in Telavi.

 The winner journalists were awarded with the i-Pad. The author of the best radio program was Giorgi Aladashvili (radio “Hereti”); Giorgi Aladashvili (newspaper “Speqtri”) was named as the author of the best article; and Eter Tetradze (TV Company “Gurjaani was selected for the prize of the best TV program. Diplomas were given to all the contestants. 

The competition was held within the project “Road Safety Awareness Campaign in the Region of Kakheti, Georgia”, which is implemented by the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure and Roads Department of Georgia.
