Road Safety and traffic jam solllution Action Plan of Tbilisi City Hall

Tbilisi City Mayor Davit Narmania presented the action plan that aims to release the city from the traffic jams and increase the safety on the roads. He also talked about the implemented activities in this direction. The meeting was attended by the experts and specialists; among them was Giorgi Chutkerashvili, the project coordinator of the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”.

The action plan of Tbilisi City Hall covers the following issues: city infrastructure, public transport, regulations, modern technologies and increasing awareness. The scheme is based on the main principles of the Tbilisi urban transport strategy, which is created by the Municipal Development Fund with the support of Asian Development Bank.
