Promoting the prevention of asbestos hazards

A conference on environmental safety issues was held, attended by representatives of the academia, NGOs, universities, public and private sector representatives. Representatives of the Partnership for Road Safety Foundation presented the research on the dangers of asbestos at the conference, which is implemented with the support of the Open Society Foundations. He presented the findings of the research conducted by the Foundation, as well as the current situation in the country and successful examples of the best international practice.
