Action in Kutaisi

The Kutaisi Youth Center has joined the UN Fourth Global Week of Road safety, whose message was: Take care of your life, #Sheanele! (#SlowDown). Kutaisi Public School # 32 was involved in the week. More than 100 countries celebrate Road Safety Week and its aim is to inform drivers that high speed is a particular risk for all traffic participants and increases the risk of car accident, severe injuries and deaths. Speeding is one of the main reasons for car accidents in Georgia. In 2016, 1 434 accident were observed, resulting 102 deaths and  2 025 person’s injures. In the same year  200, 000 administrative fines were stated for speeding reason.
