The Founder of the Organization "VIA" at the Office of the Foundation

On the 26th of February, Erik Donkers, the founder of the organization "VIA" visited the office of the Foundation "Partnership for Road Safety". The organization created the innovative approach for road safety, data collecting and problems solution. The founder of "VIA" shared his experience, the principles and the process of work to the representatives of the Foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”. The director of the Foundation introduced the project "Friendly Roads".
The project "Friendly Roads" is being implemented in the whole Georgia. The main goal of the project is to improve the road safety and decreases the deaths and injuries. The project considers creating the web-portal, which is defined for uploading videos, photos and information about danger places on the street, such as road incident, lack of traffic sings, and bad road infrastructure, etc. All the information will be displayed on the online map in the automated regime, which is available for everyone.
