Save Children's Lives on the Roads Together

The main goal of the project “Protect Children’s Rights on the Georgian Roads” was to decrease the incidence of death and injury among the young aged 0-12 on Georgian roads through raising public awareness and addressing the factors that can make the greatest impact towards reducing road traffic injuries among youth. The popular singer Anri Jokhadze was involved in the project; he participated in the commercial, which was about children’s road safety and called the parents to keep the traffic law and do not allow their children sit in the front seat of the ca. The commercial video clip was shown on the Georgian TV channels. Within the project, the special child restraints were distributed among the parents of the new-born babies at the maternity houses. The special flyers with the useful advices were prepared that was spread among the public in the streets and the hospitals. The project was supported by BP Georgia, EASST, Fia Foundation and other donors.
