Meeting with deputy chairman of the Roads Department

Giorgi Tsereteli, deputy chairman of the Roads Department met with representatives of NGOs interested in safety issues. The meeting was attended by Irakli Izoria, director of the foundation "Partnership for Road Safety". Giorgi Tsereteli introduced the activities planned by the department in regard to road safety. At the meeting they discussed additional measures planned for improving traffic safety at Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road. These measures will ensure improvement of existing operational parameters, including traffic safety. Participants of the workshop discussed the issues of management at the local level of traffic safety and agreed on close cooperation in the future.
