Property Tax on Private Vehicles
Gela Kvashlava, founder of the foundation "Partnership for Road Safety" was the guest of the program on TV Imedi. The topic of discussion was a newly-modified amendment - for the first time the families whose annual income exceeds 40,000 GEL will have to pay the property tax on private vehicle. According to Gela Kvashilava, the tax should be tailored to environmental goals, the age of the car and the harmful impact on the atmosphere should be taken into consideration, for example, electric cars should be exempt from taxes.
