Gela Kvashilava, founder of the Partnership for Road Safety Foundation, responded to the road accident, which killed 17 people and seriously injured 3 others. In his view, the cause of the traffic accident and its severity is complex. First of all, it is necessary to set minimum safety standards for tour operators, which will be related to the technical maintenance of the transport and the verification of the driver's qualifications. It is necessary to identify the responsible body and discuss this issue at the level of the Prime Minister.
