Trainings for Drivers in Khashuri within the Campaign „Make Our Road Safe” at Schools

Within the campaign “Make Our Road Safe”, the representatives of the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” are delivering the trainings for transit truck and intercity coach drivers in Khashuri. The campaign is being implemented on E-60 Tbilisi-Poti highway. The campaign „Make Our Road Safe” aims to decrease the number of death and injures on E60 Tbilisi-Poti corridor and nearby the central highway.

During the trainings, drivers learn the importance of traffic rules, road safety behavior and risks, such as drunk driving, speeding, tiredness, taking on phone, etc. With the theoretical trainings, the practical drunk driving shows are arranged. The road safety brochures, stickers and drivers’ safety jackets are distributed among the attendees.

The campaign „Make Our Road Safe” is implemented within the project “Awareness and education road safety campaigns on E-60 Tbilisi-Poti Corridor and in Settlements along this highway Corridor” by the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” with the Roads Department. The project is financed by the World Bank.
