Road Safety Seminar at the International Black Sea University

On October 6, the seminar about road safety was held at the International Black Sea University, the Georgian and foreign experts talked about the importance of road safety and shared their experience with university lecturers and students.

One of the speakers was Kate McMahon, who talked about her own experience during working at the Ministry of Transport of Great Britain. Emma MacLennan shared the experience of EASST and Great Britain for improving road safety. The Georgian traffic problems and local initiatives were reviewed by Gela Kvashilava, the representative of the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”. 

At the end of the meeting, the students and lecturers asked questions and expressed their opinions about road safety issues with the local and foreign experts. The students interested in the road safety joined the road safety club, which exist at the university.
