Road Safety Audit on Adjara TV

The founder of the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” Gela Kvashilava visited the program “Mtavari” on Adjara TV. The main topic of the program was the road safety assurance’s preventive activities audit report done by the State Audit Office. It should be noted that the recommendations provided by the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety” were included in the audit report.

Gela Kvashilava talked about situation in Georgia in terms of road safety. Emphasized issues such as speed management, coordination between different agencies, financial resources management, road infrastructure. In his opinion, it is important to eliminate gaps in the collection and exchange of statistical data, which does not allow the identification and elimination of black spots.
