Work of The Foundation "Partnership for Road Safety" recognized by International Royal Award
The Partnership has been
awarded a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award in recognition of its
significant impact on the road safety situation in Georgia. During the last
seven years, it has successfully established partnerships with the government,
private sector, civil society, and media.
The organization has played a
key role in the improvement of road safety legislation and the development of a
road safety culture in Georgia. As part of the EASST network, the PfRS
regularly shares materials and best practice with EASST partners in Kyrgyzstan,
Moldova, Belarus, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.
The PfRS team would like to thank Georgian
government institutions, BP Georgia, USAID, the FIA Foundation, the EASST,
Georgian Public Broadcasting , Estonian government, Georgian business community
and individual sponsors for their permanent attention toward road safety issues
in Georgia. We are keen to continue work in partnership for coping this
challenging issue and make our roads safer.
