Presentation of the Project "Road Safety Education for Disadvantaged Youth from Abkhazia and South Ossetia"

At the Ministry of Education and Culture of Abkhazia, the open ceremony of the project "Road Safety Education for Disadvantaged Youth from Abkhazia and South Ossetia" was held. The project will be implemented by the foundation "Partnership for Road Safety" in the collaboration with the Swiss Embassy, Ministry of Education and Culture of Abkhazia and other partners.
At the meeting, the project "Road Safety Education for Disadvantaged Youth from Abkhazia and South Ossetia" was presented, which means increasing road safety knowledge and awareness among the disadvantaged children from Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Most of them, as pedestrians, meet with different kinds of problems nearby the schools road. Within the project, the roads safety lessons will be delivered, the educational materials will be disseminated free of charge, the practical shows for visibility will be arranged, etc. The main goal of the project is to reduce growing traffic accidents through increased awareness among the disadvantaged children from Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
The open ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education and Culture of Abkhazia, representatives of Ministry and media.
