New Campaign on Children’s Road Safety of Foundation

The foundation "Partnership for Road Safety" took participation in the program "Advocacy and Communication". The training was held in Batumi. The main goal of the program is to give the possibility the non-governmental organizations to plan and implement the advocacy and communication activities appropriately. The foundation will actively work on the children’s road safety, in particular to work out the law changes about forbidding children to sit in the front seat of a car and use a child restraint seat.
Within the program, the foundation "Partnership for Road Safety" will conduct the different kinds of advocacy and communication activities. In particular, the competition on creating the 30-60 second video about child restraint use. In addition, the foundation "Partnership for Road Safety" will distribute the child restraints to mothers at nursery hospitals. The flyers with advices for children’s road safety will be prepared and spread.  
The mentioned research is implemented within the program "Develop the Dialogue on the Public Policy between Non-Governmental Sector and Parliament of Georgia".  The program is prepared by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy with Thomson Reuters Foundation and Georgian Young Lawyer’s Association.
