Crash
  • Stay calm, as casualties need your help!
  • Don't try to move the casualty before emergency comes, take off everything that might cause discomfort to the casualty;
  • Apply steady, firm pressure directly to the wound, don't wrap the wound;
  • If the casualty is unconscious put him in the recovery position;




Burns
  • DO NOT remove any material stuck to the skin
  • Cover the area of the burn with clean, water moistened dressing
  • Apply clean water to dressed burn, to cool, as required
  • Never put any medication on the burn unless directed by a doctor
  • DO NOT use creams, lotions or butter
  • DO NOT break blisters.



Broken Bones
  • If Patient heard the bone "snap", there is deformity and pain at the site of the fracture, or they are unable to move the limb;
  • DO NOT move the patient unless necessary to save their life or to prevent further injury;
  • Help patient find a comfortable position;
  • Control bleeding, if present.
